From Soup Bucket to All-Round Heat Preservation Expert: The Evolution of Heat Preservation Buckets

Release time:2025-12-03

The iteration of every classic product originates from in-depth response to user needs. The story of heat preservation buckets does not start from scratch—it is a natural extension of our in-depth cultivation in the stainless steel kitchenware field, an upgrade and scenario expansion based on the classic soup bucket, and finally grows into a "guardian of temperature" covering multiple scenarios such as catering and retail. From the initial simple heat preservation design to today's customized products adapted to diverse needs, every step of evolution is engraved with the innovative mark of "user-centricity".

I. Origin of the First Generation: Upgraded from Soup Buckets to Lay a Solid Foundation for Heat Preservation

After stainless steel soup buckets occupied the collective catering market, we keenly captured new user pain points: in the catering process of canteens and restaurants, soups, porridges and other ingredients are prone to cool down quickly, affecting taste and dining experience; mobile vendors and small catering stores are in urgent need of a tool that can maintain the temperature of ingredients for a long time. Based on this, we took the mature soup bucket manufacturing technology as the cornerstone, launched the research and development of heat preservation function, and created the first simple stainless steel heat preservation bucket.

The core innovation of this first-generation product lies in the precise design of its "three-layer composite structure": the outer layer is made of 201 stainless steel, which balances durability and cost advantages, and effectively resists external impact and corrosion; the middle layer is innovatively filled with PU (polyurethane) foam insulation layer, which uses its excellent heat insulation performance to block temperature conduction and build a stable "constant temperature barrier" for ingredients; the inner tank adheres to food-grade 304 stainless steel, ensuring that every part in contact with ingredients is safe, non-toxic and easy to clean. According to actual tests, when water at 89°C is poured into this heat preservation bucket, the water temperature can still be maintained at 65°C after 16 hours, and the heat preservation effect far exceeds the basic market demand. This "external protection and internal preservation" structural design and solid performance not only solve the basic heat preservation needs, but also lay the product gene of heat preservation buckets as "safe, durable and efficient in heat preservation".

II. Diverse Iterations: Adapting to the Needs of the Times and Expanding Product Forms

With the diversified development of the catering industry, heat preservation needs in different scenarios have begun to differentiate: high-end Western restaurants pursue product appearance and style, community canteens focus on durability and easy maintenance, and chain milk tea shops need exclusive functions adapted to beverage sales. For this reason, we have broken the limitation of "single heat preservation" and carried out all-round upgrades from appearance materials to functional design, enabling heat preservation buckets to achieve "one product for multiple purposes" in scenario coverage.

1. Appearance & Material: From Practicality to "Aesthetic Adaptation"

To meet the decoration styles and brand positioning of different merchants, we have launched a variety of appearance-upgraded series: for European-style catering scenarios, we have designed "European-style heat preservation buckets" with smooth lines, matched with simple metal texture, which fits the elegant style of Western restaurants and bakeries; to improve the dirt resistance and aesthetics of products, we have launched models with baked paint outer layers, which not only have optional colors (such as classic matte black, off-white, etc.), but also resist oil adhesion, making them especially suitable for fast food and snack shops; considering the lightweight needs of small vendors, we have also developed models with PE plastic outer layers, which reduce product weight while ensuring heat preservation effect, making them easy to carry and move.

2. Functions & Details: From Basic to "Customized Adaptation"

In addition to the core heat preservation function, we have carried out detailed innovations around "usage convenience" and launched a variety of customized options:

  • Customizable Lids: Two options are available—ordinary flat-top lids and European-style curved lids. The ordinary lids are suitable for rigid demand scenarios such as canteens and construction sites, with convenient opening and closing; the European-style lids enhance product texture through line optimization, adapting to high-end catering and retail scenarios.

  • Portable Accessories: Two types of spring folding handles are designed—one is compact, which does not take up extra space after storage, suitable for mobile vendors; the other is wide and non-slip, making it more labor-saving to hold, suitable for canteen scenarios with frequent handling. It is matched with a special spring buckle to ensure the tight closure of the bucket lid and further strengthen the heat preservation effect.

  • Safety Upgrade: Customizable non-slip rubber edges at the bottom can effectively increase friction with the ground, avoiding bucket tipping caused by collision, which is especially suitable for busy kitchens and sales counters.

3. Space Optimization: Inheriting the "Stackable" Gene to Reduce Costs and Increase Efficiency

Inheriting the successful experience of the stackable design of soup buckets, we have integrated this advantage into the research and development of heat preservation buckets. By optimizing the curvature ratio of the bucket bottom and top, multiple heat preservation buckets can be stacked layer by layer—when ordering in large quantities, it can reduce space occupation during logistics and transportation, lowering logistics costs; when used by merchants, idle buckets can be stored neatly in stacks, saving kitchen or warehouse space, and truly realizing the whole-link cost optimization "from production to use".

III. Scenario Segmentation: Focusing on the Milk Tea Track to Create Exclusive Solutions

With the explosive growth of the new-style tea drink industry, we have launched a scenario-specific product—plastic milk tea heat preservation buckets—targeting the exclusive needs of milk tea shops and beverage stores. It deeply combines heat preservation function with beverage sales scenarios, realizing the dual value of "heat preservation + convenient sales".

The innovations of this product directly address the pain points of milk tea shops: first, it is designed in two styles—"with faucet" and "without faucet". The style with faucet can be directly connected to the liquid outlet pipe to realize the rapid sale of milk tea and fruit tea, avoiding temperature loss caused by frequent lid opening; second, an LCD temperature display is added on the outer layer, allowing merchants to check the temperature of ingredients in the bucket in real time and accurately control the quality of beverages; third, it is equipped with folding stands—when in use, it can be unfolded to raise the bucket to a height suitable for the sales counter, and when not in use, it can be folded for storage without taking up space, perfectly adapting to the "small and refined" operation scenario of milk tea shops.

Conclusion: Focusing on Temperature to Continuously Extend Product Value

From soup buckets to heat preservation buckets, from single heat preservation to diversified customization, the development history of heat preservation buckets is our dual exploration of "temperature" and "scenarios". From the large pots of soup in canteens to the freshly made drinks in milk tea shops, from the street sales of mobile vendors to the exquisite catering in high-end restaurants, we have always been user-demand-oriented, continuously polishing the material safety, heat preservation performance and usage convenience. In the future, with the continuous transformation of the catering industry, we will continue to use technological innovation to write a new chapter in the evolution of heat preservation buckets, allowing every ingredient to maintain the best temperature and every merchant to find an exclusive heat preservation solution.
